| The Archive UtilityA tool for archiving files on your hard disk or server. The Archive Utility performs several tasks. First it copies your studies at configurable periods of time to a storage device. This device can be a tape library, cd/dvd library, mo disk, or cd/dvd rewriteable drive. The Archive utility comes with each installation of a stand alone analyzer. In addition, the archive utility deletes images from your hard disk or RAID server after a configurable period of time. Once deleted, the utility updates the location field in the database. If your archive device is 'on-line', then ProSolv can automatically retrieve the images. If you backup to mo disk or cd's, then the software will prompt you for the properly labeled disk. |
